Application for Membership

The Book Development Association of the Philippines (BDAP) is an organization that aims to promote the development of the book industry in the Philippines. If you are interested in becoming a member of BDAP, here is how you can apply:

  1. Download the membership application form here and fill-out. Prepare the required documents for submission (SEC Certificate first page, Company Profile, and the list of your product titles or price list if any).

  2. Provide additional information as required. 

  3. Review your application and make sure that all the information you provided is accurate and complete. 

  4. Submit the application form and other required documents here. Wait for confirmation of your application through email. The BDAP Membership Committee will review your application and notify you of the status of your application via email.

  5. If your application is approved, you will receive an email containing instructions on how to pay for the admission fee and membership fee. Membership fees vary depending on the membership category. For individual membership, there is an admission fee of P5,000.00 and P1,000.00 to be paid annually. For corporate membership, there is an admission fee of P5,000.00 and P2,500 to be paid annually.

Attend BDAP events and participate in activities. As a member of BDAP, you will have access to various events and opportunities to contribute to the development of the book industry in the Philippines.

Enjoy the benefits of being a BDAP member, such as discounts on events and online courses, opportunity to enter your books to the Gintong Aklat Awards held every two years,furnished with all publications, circulars, and notices that the Association issues from time to time, or relevant issuances of government, and opportunities to network with other industry professionals.
